Strategi Metakognitif dalam Belajar Bahasa Arab di Era Pandemi Covid-19 : Analisis Persepsi Mahasiswa

Abstract


The process of achieving learning objectives is not only achieved in the results of lectures in class, but also through the selection of appropriate learning strategies. Therefore, this study intends to explore the perceptions of students of the IAIN Palangka Raya Arabic Language Education Study Program about the use of metacognitive strategies in learning Arabic. This study uses a narrative research design which functions to explore a story from the participants in order to explain the experiences and phenomena experienced by the participants directly. From the results of the study, it was found that the steps used by students in using metacognitive strategies were (1) paying attention to mistakes that had been made by using a lot of information in learning Arabic, (2) focusing attention when someone spoke Arabic, (3) time management. which is used in learning Arabic in the pandemic era, (4) using friends to invite him to speak Arabic.
