Abstract

Self-acceptance can make you feel happier and not worry about going through everyday life because you can adapt to the environment so that the potential that exists in a person can be seen and developed. The media used to assist and motivate the process of self-acceptance also vary, one of which is through entertainment shows such as films and drama series. This study aims to analyze and discuss the moral message about self-acceptance in the main character of the Korean drama series Our Beloved Summer. The research process is carried out using a qualitative descriptive method with an intrinsic approach which aims to determine the characteristics of the main character and is presented in the form of a broad description. The selection of the Korean drama series is based on the many life lessons learned from the drama series which are interesting to study because they are related to self-acceptance and development.
