Abstract


The Covid-19 pandemic requires learning at various levels to be carried out using a distance learning model. In fact, learning Arabic does not escape this situation. This requires teachers to be more innovative in designing online-based learning media. Therefore, the MTQ (Mobile Turjumanul Qur'an) application is used as a companion to the "Turjumanul Qur'an" textbook that students have used in learning Arabic vocabulary. This study aims to describe the learning of Arabic vocabulary using the book "Turjumanul Qur'an" which is combined with an Android-based MTQ application for students of SMP al-Furqon Jember. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study model. The results showed that mufrodat learning with the book "Turjumanul Qur'an" combined with the MTQ application has 3 stages, namely: opening activities, core activities and closing activities. The opening activity consists of online teacher perceptions and motivations. Then, the core activities consist of planting concepts, understanding concepts and practicing with drill techniques. This lesson was closed with reinforcement in the form of reinforcement through the MTQ application (Mobile Turjumanul Qur'an).
