Efektivitas Penggunaan Metode Bernyanyi dalam Meningkatkan Penguasaan Mufradat Bahasa Arab Siswa

Abstract


Songs can actually make listeners feel happy and calm when listening to them. Not only for refreshing, it turns out that singing can be used in learning Arabic so that students do not get bored quickly when learning. This research is a field research conducted at MTsN 6 Hulu Sungai Utara. While the type of research is experimental research by dividing 2 class groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. In practice, the experimental class and control class are given a pre-test to determine what initial conditions are differences between the experimental class and the control class, then look for the effect of treatment through post test both groups. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data obtained through tests, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data collected through the help of the SPSS version 22 application. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class. This difference can be seen from the change in the average value of the pre-test to post-test in each class (experimental class and control class). The mean pre-test score was 46.59 and the post-test score was 81.59 in the experimental class, while in the control class the pre-test average score was 49.32 and the post-test score was 67.50. Thus it can be concluded that teaching Arabic vocabulary using the singing method is proven to be effective in increasing students' mastery of Arabic’s Vocabulary.
