Upaya Guru Bahasa Arab dalam Mengajarkan dan Mempraktikkan Mahārah Kalām kepada Anak Sendiri
Abstract
Parents play an important role in developing child competence. Many Arabic teachers and parents both capable of teaching students but are not necessarily able to teach their children. The study aims to learn about the efforts, methods, strategies, and media teachers of Arabic as well as the contributing factors and constraints of the Arab teacher's efforts to teach and practice the skills of speaking Arabic to one's own children. The method of study is a descriptive qualitative by making a single parent of the Arabic teacher a study subject. The result of this study is that an Arabic teacher's efforts at teaching and practicing Arabic speaking skills to his own children include planning time and material, using the ta 'bir hurr and ta’bir muwajja methods and his own strategies, but not using a specific medium. There are many contributing factors such as easy material according to child psychology, intelligent children with good interest and good teacher skills. As for the containment factor there is interference from other family members, television and gadged as well as children’s laziness.
